Hi and welcome! I’m Charlise Wall, and I am so glad you’re here! I’m a Christian writer, have recently completed a PhD in English Literature, and am awaiting graduation. I have a deep passion for literary creation, art, and, most of all, Christ who made everything beautiful in its time.
I take joy in encouraging and uplifting women through words of faith and wisdom.
A little more about my background…
I accepted Christ into my life at the age of 11 and have loved God ever since. Over the years, despite seasons of wavering faith, I always sought a more intimate relationship with Him.
Through His divine providence, and after seeking His guidance, the Lord placed a specific passion in my heart: writing. Therefore, He graciously opened doors which allowed me to complete multiple degrees in order to hone this skill!
However, years went by, and I did not pursue the passion that had led me to study in the first place. I worked as a tutor for first-year university students, built my academic skills internationally, and even spent time working at an art gallery in Cape Town.
After completing my studies and stepping into my second year of a beautiful marriage to a wonderful missionary, I felt a renewed desire to share what God has placed on my heart. These thoughts set the foundation for this space, so, indeed, He has made everything beautiful in its time!
He Has Made Everything Beautiful in its Time
In light of God’s majesty and sovereignty, He has woven our lives into a beautiful tapestry, and every thread was designed for His glory.
This means that He wants us to be fully committed to glorifying Him with our lives. “Everything Beautiful” is a quote taken from the profound truth found in Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV) which says, “He has made all things beautiful in its time.”

No matter what we may face in life—seasons of joy or sorrow—God, the Master Creator, is sovereign in the lives of His children.
Because He moulds us, bringing His perfect plans to fruition in our lives, as His children, we can rest in His divine and inerrant nature!
My desire is to walk alongside you on this journey of faith, inspiring a deeper intimacy with the One who has made everything beautiful in its time.
